Battery Park Library offers a variety of multi-cultural programs, throughout the year. Their new language program is presented by The Culture Tree and is focused on the Hindi/Urdu language.
According to the organization’s mission statement, their goal is to develop a love for the Hindi/Urdu language and South Asian culture in every child that attends their classes. They teach their students by using a multi-sensorial approach, in which the students will experience and learn the language through stories, music, songs, art, movement, meditation.
