The Community Board 1 is hosting a town hall tonight to gather input on the future of Peck Slip Park. The meeting will focus on gathering feedback on what the community would like to see developed at the open space, used by many downtown families.

The NYC Department of Parks & Recreation will give a brief presentation on the original plans for Peck Slip Park, which have now been put on hold, as locals asked to have their voices heard by the Department of Parks and Recreation. This will be followed by a session for public comment.

Please consider attending, with your fellow residents and community stakeholders. Families, pet owners, outdoor coffee drinkers, Sunday paper readers, lovers of the outdoors…this means you!

Date: Monday, September 25th

Time: 6pm
