FiDi Families has a great reason to trek North, as in the North Pole…Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Times Square becomes a modern “Miracle on 42nd Street” as the Odditorium hosts Christmas in July with indoor ice skating, Christmas carolers, special discounts and more. This trek is worth the bumpy subway ride, the heat of the subway platform and critters running on the tracks. Simply hop on the express train to Times Square and it’ll be worth it.

With temperatures outside hovering in the 90’s, snow will fall inside Ripley’s Times Square, where guests can sing along with the Definitely Dickens Holiday Carolers and take photos with “Little Santa” from 12pm to 5pm. Visitors can also borrow a pair of skates to try a few figure eights among the memorabilia of Robert Ripley’s baseball team on Ripley’s indoor ice skating rink.

Date: Thursday, July 25th

Time: 9a – 1a (not a typo!)

Location: 234 West 42nd Street (between 7th and 8th Avenue)

FiDi Families Insider: The first 200 children (ages 12 and under) to arrive at the museum will receive a “present” from Santa – a Ripley’s Believe It or Not! book to take home. Those that brave the heat and bare their best “ugly Christmas sweater” will receive half-priced admission (same day) to Ripley’s. Book online for a 20% discount.
