Lego Brick Fest Live – Calling Lego Lovers of all ages! Brick Fest Live is filled with interactive, hands on lego themed activities including Jr. Builders, Glow Zone, Mosaics, the Inspiration Station, Mini Golf, a Theater and much more. You can check out cool lego displays or have a chance to make some of your own. This event is coming to the Meadowlands (October 8 – October 9).
Pick-Your-Own-Pumpkins– For a great fall experience in New Jersey, Alstede Farms has a huge pick-your-own pumpkin patch and on the weekend activities for all: hayrides, wagon train, pony rides and music.
Apple Picking– Masker Orchards in Warwick, NY is one of our favorites for Apple Picking (apples are good for picking until Mid- October). For over 100 years, they have offered some of the best family apple picking in Hudson Valley. Over 200 acres of dozens of types of Apples to select from, pony rides, barnyard animals and fall foliage. The perfect place to set up a picnic for the day.
Rise of the Jack O’ Lantern– for the first time the annual Rise of the Jack O’ Lantern is heading to New Jersey –Meadowlands Exposition Center (October 27-30) just a short ride from the Lincoln Tunnel or accessible by bus from Port Authority. If you have never experienced it, what a sight it is to see! Over 5,000-hand carved pumpkins are set up to create a walking trail and tied to a musical Halloween score.
Fall Fest at the Queens County Farm Museum– Your favorite farm activities rolled into one afternoon with Pig Races, Live Country Music, Petting Zoo, Hay Rides and Pony Rides, Pumpkin Patch, Corn Maze Bounce Houses and more at the Queens County Farm Museum (October 30)
