The Battery Fair Weekend Event

Batter Oval Fair

Join FiDi Families at an incredible destination this week, our very own Battery Park!

The Battery Conservancy and NYC Parks will celebrate the opening of The Battery Oval, the new public lawn at the Broadway entrance to The Battery, the 25-acre public park at the southern tip of Manhattan—along with the thriving biodiversity of our region—by hosting the first Battery Fair on Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26.

The Battery Fair will feature 90 emerging producers of horticulture, agriculture, food, and craft who are defining sustainable systems of natural production without compromising taste and beauty.  The Battery Conservancy has selected 90 vendors in consultation with regional advisors, including Dan Barber (Blue Hill at Stone Barns), Nicola Farinetti (Eataly Downtown), Kathleen Masters (Amagansett Food Institute), Edwina von Gal (Perfect Earth Project), Severine von Tscharner Fleming (The Greenhorns), and David Robinov (Farm to People), among others.

Exhibitors at The Battery Fair will provide demonstrations and samples, and sell their products from a unique market stand designed specifically for The Battery Oval to create a new and iconic structure for public events at The Battery.  The 90 custom stands will encircle the Oval, creating a grand installation, one-seventh of a mile long.

The Battery Fair hours are 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. both on Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26.
