It’s My Park Day

It’s My Park Day. Come to Washington Market Park for the citywide celebration of It’s My Park Day. Kids will have the opportunity to work in the garden with Park Gardener Richie. He will instruct children and adults on how to properly plant bulbs, flowers, and work the soil. Children’s gardening gloves and trowels will be provided, but bring your own if possible.

 

This day is used to teach children about gardening while they help in planting thousands of bulbs in the fall and annuals in the spring. This event is sponsored by The Friends of Washington Market Park.
