Carnival Day. Enjoy an in-store Carnival at ivivva Union Square. Start with CircusYoga led by Shari Vilchez-Blatt, founder of Karma Kids Yoga. CircusYoga blends the practice of yoga and a circus celebration focusing on connection and communication through circus skills including juggling, devil sticks, hooping, and spinning plates.
Kids will also enjoy Group Games, Invention, Acrobatics, Flying Partner Yoga, Tightwire and Balance, and Creative Movement. CircusYoga preaches courage, trust, connection, collaboration, deep listening, community, and celebration.
Shari Vilchez-Blatt was a VP, Advertising Director and left to pursue the opportunity to combine two things that are close to her heart – yoga and children. She trained with Radiant Child Yoga Program, YogaKids, and through Yoga Mom, Buddha Baby. She is also a CircusYoga Ring 3-er and trained in Yoga Therapy For Children. She completed her Prenatal Yoga certification and Yoga for Kids with Special Needs through Radiant Child Yoga, Zensational Kids, and Every Kids Yoga. Recently, Shari completed Brain Gym 101 and Gogo Babies Infant Development Training as she continue teaching yoga to children after over 14 years.
There will be a number of surprises throughout the event. Get excited for dance class, flash tats, and more! Sporting your favorite ivivva gear is encouraged!
