Big City Fishing at Pier 25! Hudson River Park offers Big City Fishing for free! This is a great way for your kids to learn how to fish in the wonderful Hudson River environment. Don’t worry, rods, reels, bait and instruction will all be provided!
While also fun, this informative program provides participants with an opportunity to learn about river ecology and different fish species that are found in the river.
Come relax, fish, and learn more about water quality, fish biology, and more! Big City Fishing offers city-dwellers a unique option for outdoor family recreation, a perfect way to spend a summer afternoon outdoors!
Pier 25 is the longest pier in Hudson River Park! In addition to the fishing amenities Pier 25 includes an 18-hole miniature golf course, snack bar, sand volleyball courts, a children’s playground, a town dock and small boat moorings, historic ships, and a flexible artificial turf lawn on the western end to lay and relax or to play some group games!
