Enjoy an autumnal festival of food and community to raise funds for Spruce Street School, P.S. 397 and the new Peck Slip School, P.S. 343. Local merchants present culinary tastings in an outdoor event on the historic South Street Seaport property. Musical entertainment and free children’s activities will add to the family-fun day. Stop by The Crafty Kids table and check out their great crafting kits for sale as they help fundraise for FiDi schools.
All proceeds from the Taste of The Seaport go towards enrichment programs of Spruce Street School , P.S. 397 and the much anticipated Peck Slip School , P.S. 343, which will incubate Kindergarten at the Tweed Courthouse this September and is expected to welcome new children in 2015 at the previous home of the Peck Slip U.S. Post Office.
