The Downtown Alliance is bringing together the community of downtown restaurants for the 17th Annual “Dine Around Downtown” food event on Tuesday, May 22nd. The foodie event is open to the public and showcases more than 40 restaurants that call downtown home. Tickets will be sold at the event and attendees will have a chance to sample signature dishes from an impressive list of downtown destinations. Participating restaurants include: Adrienne’s Pizza Bar; Andaz Kitchen and Bar; ATRIO Wine Bar and Restaurant; Battery Gardens; Bavaria Bier Haus; Bay Room; Beckett’s Bar & Grill; Bill’s Bar & Burger; Blue Ribbon Bakery; Blue Smoke BPC; Bobby Van’s Steakhouse; Brushstroke; City Acres Market; Cowgirl Seahorse; Delmonico’s Restaurant; Eataly; Financier Patisserie; Harry’s Café; Harry’s Italian; Inatteso; Juice Brothers; The Ketch Brewhouse; Le District; Mad Dog & Beans Mexican Cantina; Manhatta; OBAO Water Street; PARM battery Park; Pier A Harbor House; Route 66 Smokehouse; Sprinkles Land; Stone Street Tavern; Suteishi Japanese Restaurant; The Capital Grille; The Dubliner; The Malt House; The Tuck Room; Ulysses’ Folk House; Underdog; Vintry Wine & Whiskey, and Wei West.
FiDi Families Insiders: The event includes music by The National Jazz Museum in Harlem-All Stars.
Once again, a photo contest will be taking place, encouraging attendees to post a photo of each of their food plates on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, using the hashtag #DownIsWhatsUp to enter the contest. Clearly, the more photos (the more food you eat), the better your chances of winning a two-night stay for two at the Conrad New York.
This fun food event is co-sponsored by the Fosun Group, which manages 28 Liberty Plaza and the Alliance for Downtown, which serves the Lower Manhattan community.
