In celebration of its 35th anniversary of the first G-Shock watch, the G-Shock brand hosted an elaborate evening with Founder Mr. Kikuo Ibe, who unveiled the first-ever, sapphire crystal G-Schock – a prototype model fusing the most fragile material in the world with the brand’s hallmark toughness. The G-Shock watch was originally launched in 1983 and the company is releasing a collection of special edition watches to commemorate the Casio G-Shock 35th anniversary collection. 

Over 1,000 guests attended a news conference, with details on the collection and history of the incredible brand. It was followed by a cocktail hour with music by DJ and Founder of streetwear brand Off-White, Virgil Abloh, with the evening concluding with an exciting, energy-filled performance from A$AP Ferg alongside other A$AP Mob members, including A$AP Ant, Cozy Boys, A$AP Nast and A$AP Twelvyy.

Celebrities, actors and influencers such as Grammy-Award winner recording artist T-Pain, acclaimed grime artist Skepta, Designer Nicole Miller, Model and son of P. Diddy Christian Combs and tattoo artist Jon Boy, as well as G-SHOCK athlete and Olympian Louie Vito also attended the milestone event.
